Penalties for violations of the GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act) can be severe:
- Violations of the GLBA can result in fines that can exceed $100,000 to the Dealership.
- Violations of the GLBA can result in DIRECT FINES to the Employee in violation AND Managing Staff and Dealer Principals of $10,000.
- In addition, the Dealership’s license to operate can be revoked or suspended for excessive compliance violations.
