Consumer Privacy Notice

Under the GLBA, Dealerships must provide their Consumers a “Privacy Notice” that explains what information the Dealership gathers about the Consumer, where this information is shared, and how the Dealership safeguards that information.

  • This “Privacy Notice” must be given to the Consumer PRIOR to entering into an agreement to conduct business with the Dealership.
  • There is an exception to this when the Consumer accepts a “Delayed Receipt” of the notice in order to complete a transaction on a timely basis.
