In this Course, we will review Cybersecurity and Electronic Data Privacy, including how Dealerships must comply with Cybersecurity and Electronic Data Privacy regulatory requirements.
This includes the usage of electronic devices, such as laptops, cell phones and other electronic devices.
We will also review Cloud Storage and online management concerns, especially where Consumers and Employees’ NPI (Non-public Personal Information) is concerned.
We will review regulatory requirements contained within the original, and the “Revised” or “Amended” FTC Safeguards Rule.
We will review the different types of cyber attacks that Dealerships need to be aware of, along with Policies and Procedures that Dealerships need to implement to be better prepared to defend against these potential cyber attacks
Knowing some cybersecurity basics and putting them in practice will help you protect your business and reduce the risk of a cyber attack that threatens the Dealership’s regulatory requirements to protect Consumers and Employees’ NPI.
